We’re excited to announce that Raíces Latin Jazz will return to Studio5 in Evanston on Friday, Nov. 10th. This will be our first concert there since we released our self-title album at Studio5 last fall. That was a bittersweet occasion since we had just lost our founding member, Ruben Alvarez shortly after finishing the CD.

Nov. 10th will be a much more joyful celebration as we celebrate Ruben’s birthday with a first performance of one of his compositions that has not yet been performed. (And stay tuned for an announcement of a special guest!) In addition, we’ll be sharing some new compositions by some of the current Raíces members.
